I watch porn. I did before this was my job and I still do now that it is.
Around 2014 I started writing down what happened when I signed up to sites, mostly because I kept getting burned: a $1 trial that quietly became $40 a month, an “HD” tube serving 480p under a watermark, a play button that was really a download button.
I’ve been building lists of porn sites from those notes ever since. Porneed is the newest one, not the first, and it’s the one where I finally do it the way I always wanted: fewer sites, every one of them tested, and a review that tells you what you’re actually buying.
The rule
Nothing goes on this site that I haven’t checked with my own eyes. It hasn’t changed in twelve years.
Trial price, what it rebills at, how many clicks to cancel: I read that on the join page and in the account settings, not in a press kit. Safe means I opened the site and nothing tried to redirect me or install itself. Updated daily means I looked at the dates.
After this long I know plenty of the people who run these sites. That helps when I need a straight answer about billing, and counts for nothing when the score comes out.
How a site gets in
Every site goes through the same door. I use it the way you would and look at three things, in this order:
- Safety — redirects, fake players, pop-ups fishing for your card.
- Content — is the library real, is it fresh, is the quality what the tour promised.
- Money, if there’s any — list price in US dollars, what the trial turns into, how cancelling works.
Fail the first one and there’s no review; you’re just not here.
Sites change, so do the scores
A clean tube grows pop-unders. A studio bumps its rebill without a word. A player stops working on phones.
So I go back through the reviews on a rotation, reread the join pages, and move the score when the site has moved. The date under each review title is the last time I was there. When I can get you a better price than the join page shows, the review says so and the site carries a deal mark on the list.
What you won’t find here
No ads. No paid scores. No lists copied from somebody else. And no undress tools, fakes or stolen content.
If a review is wrong, or a site has gone bad since I looked, write to me. I read everything.
